Hello Artists! We are very happy to say we are able to plan for a 2021 Akron Arts Expo! The 41st Akron Arts Expo will take place on Saturday, July 24 & Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Our greatest priority is the safety the artists, public and staff. We have worked with our local health department to make sure we plan a show that meets these standards while giving the artists a chance to have a show this year. Because of this a few things will not be happening and others will look different this year. The large tent for activities and the Children’s Tent will not be up, the Taste of Akron will be back in 2022, and unfortunately there will be no Artist’s Reception Saturday evening.
These changes have given us a chance to spread out the artist area so we can accommodate the space needed between each booth space. Even with the expanded space, with social distancing, there are only approximately 107 booth spaces. There will also be one way traffic flow throughout the space, hand sanitizing stations, crowd limits, social distancing, mask requirements and more.
There are a lot of details but the opportunity to have the show has us very excited! We will continue to work with the health department as things change and progress so we can implement any modifications as they come along. Please note the changes to our usual timeline. We will do our best to stick to it but changes may be necessary.
Only online applications will be accepted. We will accept 2021 artist applications from April 1-30, 2021. Artist notifications will be emailed by May 21, 2021. Please note that all notifications and communications will be emailed this year. There will be NO regular mailed information for 2021.
The registration fee will be $10.00. This fee is non-refundable and covers the online application process.

Artists are the heart of our show! We are a juried show with over 100 artists in a natural park setting. Each year we strive to create a unique and diverse show for the artists and the public.
